We want Squadly to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, switch devices, or keyboard-only navigation. We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What's in place today
- Keyboard navigation and a visible focus state on interactive elements throughout the app.
- A "skip to content" link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Form fields with associated labels, and errors announced to assistive technology (via
aria-liveandrole="alert"). - Sufficient color contrast in both light and dark themes, and a system that follows your OS-level dark mode preference automatically.
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting — animations are shortened or removed if you've enabled it.
Known limitations
Squadly is under active development, and not every screen has had a full accessibility audit yet. If you encounter something that doesn't work well with your assistive technology, we want to know — see below.
Report an accessibility issue
Email accessibility@squadlyclub.com with what you were trying to do, what happened, and what assistive technology and browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within 5 business days.
